INFOCOMM LAUNCHES STAGING & MANAGEMENT LONDON 16 December 2014

An intensive Staging and Event Management Course will focus on empowering UK-based entertainment and event professionals with formal project qualifications recognised globally and accredited by InfoComm International , the leading trade association representing the audiovisual and information communications industries worldwide.
Staging and Event Management will be held at the Royal College of Surgeons, Westminster, London from 7-9January 2014. The course will be instructed by Andre LeJeune, CTS, Live Events, Rental and Staging instructor at InfoComm International.
Chris Lavelle, Regional Director, UK & Ireland at InfoComm International said: This course will empower event professionals to be even better at what they do, from production designers, venues to staging and rental companies. A call for project management oriented course in live events has been answered. Cost savings, time efficiency and a more relaxing and rewarding job environment through project concept, planning and completion can be expected after thiscourse.
The UK events industry is perhaps one of the most established and well respected markets with a high level of talent. The course meets the requests of our members and fulfils the inquiries we have from the rental and staging community for a standardised education programme, recognised around the globe.

Live event professionals will see benefits of field-tested project management principles.
On completing the course, participants will have the ability to manage show departments, clients and venues. Diverse staging pre-planning, cuing and execution of staging an event as well as the technical, creative and practical challenges that arise in projects will beexplored in depth, explained Andre LeJeune.
