Leading tech-enabled human-capital-management firm Program Productions, along with affiliated companies XLT Management Services, ProCrewz, and Rhino Staging, has added Sean McManus and Carol Stiff to the Board of Managers Advisory Committee.

When I first considered the idea of instituting an Advisory Board over a decade ago, says Bob Carzoli, executive chairman, Program Productions. I always envisioned it would include the leaders in our industry. Adding Sean to our board is the pinnacle of that plan: how could we be anything but over-the-top excited about his presence and experience. Sean; Carol [Stiff]; Geoff Mason, [Sports Broadcasting Hall of Famer and longtime broadcast executive]; and Jerry Steinberg, [longtime FOX Sports executive], provide us with over a century of knowledge and expertise that can't be found anywhere else.

With a remarkable career spanning more than five decades, McManus is a distinguished figure in sports broadcasting. He most recently served as chairman of CBS Sports and was president of CBS Sports from 1996 to 2011. He added the title of president of CBS News from 2005 to 2011, becoming only the second person besides ABC legend Roone Arledge to hold both positions simultaneously. Becoming CBS Sports chairman in 2011, McManus oversaw groundbreaking broadcast agreements and drove innovative approaches to coverage of the most notable sports events in the world until retiring last April.

Stiff, a trailblazer in women's-sports media for more than 30 years at ESPN, is renowned for her relentless advocacy and instrumental role in driving the growth of women's sports at both the collegiate and professional levels. At ESPN, she served as VP of women's sports programming and acquisitions. In her current role as president/chair of the Advisory Board for the Women's Sports Network and as an advisor to industry brands, she continues to make significant contributions to elevating women's athletics, fostering greater visibility and shaping the future of sports media.

McManus has received numerous honors throughout his career, including 22 Emmy Awards. In 2010, McManus was inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame and in 2015, named to The Hollywood Reporter's list of The 35 Most Powerful People in Media, and was honored with the Legacy Award at the Cynopsis Sports Media Awards. In 2016, he was inducted into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame.

McManus says that, throughout his entire career, he has sought to associate himself with the absolute best in the industry and that Program Productions certainly fits well into that category.

They are, without question, the clear leader in their field, and will continue to grow and innovate as the industry continues to evolve, he says. I am so looking forward to working with Bob, Geoff, Jerry, Carol and the entire Program Productions team as we lead the company to even greater prominence and success.

Carol Stiff is an advocate for women's sports and a trailblazer in women's-sports media.

Widely respected by industry peers, Stiff has received several prestigious awards, including induction into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. She is also a recipient of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame's John W. Bunn and the Naismith Tip-Off Club Lifetime Achievement Awards and an Edward R. Murrow Award winner. Additionally, she was named WISE Woman of the Year in 2013 and recognized in Business Insider's 2014 list of 50 Most Influential People Behind the Scenes in Sports.

Carol Stiff brings a hall-of-fame r sum to the Advisory Committee at Program Productions, says Carzoli. Her knowledge of the broadcast industry and her network relationships are second to none. She is another great addition to the Program Productions team, and adding her as an advisor at the same time we've added Sean McManus is validation that what we've built brings real value to our partners and employees.
