At NATEXPO 2016, SAM (Booth #A43) will be presenting its comprehensive IP solution, game-changing LiveTouch replay and highlights system and industry renowned Kahuna production switcher. Built on the latest SAM server technology, LiveTouch uses SAM's unique FrameMagic technology to enable powerful workflows in standalone systems or integrated into a wider production environment. Uniquely, LiveTouch supports integrated editing with no delays due to media movement and without the cost of duplicating recordings or storage. Highlights packages get to air faster, and system design is dramatically simplified. Using SAM's Momentum workflow technology, users can publish highlights and replays straight to social media at the touch of a button ICE Channel-in-a-Box and Morpheus Automation technology ICE, SAM's Channel-in-a-Box solution and Morpheus Automation will be on display to demonstrate how SAM meets the demands many enterprise-scale organizations face when delivering content to more platforms and devices than ever before. Morpheus will be on hand to showcase SAM's capacity to provide a scalable, multi-channel and multi-screen playout automation solution for broadcast organizations. The latest software will be on show including a brand new user interface, new respeed options using SAM's world-leading Alchemist technology and tighter integration with Avid conforms including profile respeeds and history.
Kahuna and Kula production switchers streamline the future of 4K The Kahuna production switcher range delivers the ultimate power, creativity, flexibility and built-in SAM reliability enabling users to create their productions, their way. SAM's FormatFusion3 technology raises the bar for multi-format operations, supports any combination of SD, HD, 1080p (level A & B) and 4K, eliminating the need for external conversion.
Built on the heritage of SAM's award winning Kahuna switcher, Kula is capable of handling 4K/1080p/HD and SD in 1M/E and 2M/E versions. Kula can handle multiple formats making it both future-proof and adaptable for today's production environment. The 2M/E HD/SD version can be switched to 1M/E 4K mode, allowing users to benefit from higher production values.
