At NATEXPO 2016, SAM (Booth #A43) will be presenting its comprehensive IP solution, game-changing LiveTouch replay and highlights system and industry renowned Kahuna production switcher. SAM will also be demonstrating its all new redesigned Quantel Rio editing, color and finishing system for HD, UHD, 4K and 8K.

Kahuna and Kula production switchers streamline the future of 4K The Kahuna production switcher range delivers the ultimate power, creativity, flexibility and built-in SAM reliability enabling users to create their productions, their way. SAM's FormatFusion3 technology raises the bar for multi-format operations, supports any combination of SD, HD, 1080p (level A & B) and 4K, eliminating the need for external conversion.

Built on the heritage of SAM's award winning Kahuna switcher, Kula is capable of handling 4K/1080p/HD and SD in 1M/E and 2M/E versions. Kula can handle multiple formats making it both future-proof and adaptable for today's production environment. The 2M/E HD/SD version can be switched to 1M/E 4K mode, allowing users to benefit from higher production values.
