Munich | 09/17/2015 | Event Rohde & Schwarz again demonstrates its expertise as a reliable partner to the automotive industry at eCall Days eCall Days, September 23 to 24 in Berlin, is Germanys largest conference for the eCall system that will be introduced in motor vehicles throughout Europe in 2018. All key players from the European Commission, politics and industry will meet up here for the fifth time. The test and measurement expert Rohde & Schwarz will take the opportunity to show its eCall/ERA-Glonass test solution for the first time in Berlin. The eCall/ERA-Glonass test setup from Rohde & Schwarz is a fast and reliable solution for standard-compliant testing of mobile radio and GNSS capable components for eCall and ERA-Glonass in-vehicle systems (IVS). The setup consisting of an R&S CMW500 wideband radio communication tester with R&S CMW-KA094/KA095 application software and the GNSS-capable R&S SMBV100A vector signal generator can be used to verify whether an eCall/ERA-Glonass modem successfully triggers an eCall, establishes a connection to the public safety answering point and transmits the specified minimum set of data in line with the specification. The R&S CMW-KT110 eCall/ERA-Glonass test package also offers complete test automation with the R&S CMWrun sequencer software.
