On-ice projection within the National Hockey League has turned from hot commodity to a more commonplace scene at all 30 venues. To buck this trend, Quince Imaging has developed a new activation through a partnership with the NHL and the league's real-time player statistics. Dubbed the Zelus Projection System, the technology is capable of displaying both team-based and player-based numbers like shots on goals, blocked shots, missed shots, and other information on the playing surface during intermissions. Aiming to implement this product league wide, the company worked with the Washington Capitals for use during every home game at Capital One Arena.
