HP Confirmed Eligible to Provide Mobility Management Solutions Under GSA Managed Mobility Program

PALO ALTO, Calif. -- HP Enterprise Services today announced that it has been identified by the General Services Administration (GSA) Managed Mobility Program as a viable source to provide HP Enterprise Mobility Management solutions to government agencies.

In accordance with the Digital Government Strategy Action Item 5.5, the GSA's Managed Mobility Program is responsible for defining requirements and identifying potential solutions for government agencies to securely set up applications and enterprise data on mobile devices, as well as manage the devices and mobile platforms.

Through this program, HP has demonstrated it can provide and integrate Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) solutions within a federal infrastructure. By addressing the government's requirements for managing mobile devices, HP will deliver solutions that meet workforce and user demand for increased access and application adoption. HP Mobility Solutions also will support a broader range of operating systems and models, as well as allow agencies to streamline operations, increase workforce productivity and manage costs.

To address the wide disparity in existing government agency IT environments, as well as budget constraints and differing approaches to mobile device integration, HP offers Enterprise Mobility solutions powered by four market-leading MDM/MAM products to meet MDM/MAM requirements and provide flexible solutions. Additionally, the HP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) Mobility solution available for commercial and public sector organizations provides secure MDM/MAM service through the HP cloud infrastructure.

As mobility becomes increasingly pervasive, organizations are considering MDM/MAM mobility solutions within the context of their unique mobility needs, said Marilyn Crouther, senior vice president and general manager, U.S. Public Sector, HP Enterprise Services. Under the GSA Managed Mobility Program, HP enables agencies to leverage advanced technology expertise to develop a complete set of capabilities that adhere to existing federal policies and administrative priorities.

HP Mobility Solutions are available through multiple IDIQ contract vehicles, including the GSA Connections II, GSA Alliant, Chief Information Officer Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3), DoJ ITSS4, VA T4 and VA VRM.
