Actress and Media mogul Connie Ferguson who plays the role of Harriet Khoza hasn't appeared on the show due to the passing of her husband Shona Ferguson.

The teasers for the month of August are incomplete because of the impact of Shona's death on the production.

Hectors flowers are the talk of the Khoza mansion, meanwhile Harriet confesses she s caught feelings.

SHONA FERGUSON'S DEATH Shona contracted COVID-19 towards the end of June and battled with the virus for 33-days before he passed away on 30 July.

Soapies and telenovela are usually shot two or three months ahead of schedule.

Connie Ferguson's sister, Atosie Pilane, said at the veteran actor's funeral service on 4 August that Shona put up the bravest fight of his life .

Pilane took guests through a summary of Ferguson's journey from the day he fell ill right up to his passing.

THE QUEEN': CURRENT STORYLINE Connie Ferguson's character Harriet Khoza has fallen in love with Rapulana Seiphemo's character, Hector Sebata.

Harriet has run-off to her mother's in North West province on the show to deal with her feelings for Hector who is married to Vuyiswa Maake (Zandile Msutwana).

Hector has been beside himself because he misses Harriet and is dying to see her.

He even delivered flowers to her house with a cryptic message because she hasn't been taking his phone calls.

She finally replied to Hector's voicemails last night and left him a voice message which states that she feels the same way.

Viewers only heard her voice and didn't see her because she's dealing with Shona's death.

The Khoza s go unharmed while Harriet and Hector seem to have an understanding. #TheQueenMzansi

PREDICTIONS The writers have to change the storyline until Connie is feeling strong enough to return to the show.

We'll probably hear more phone calls or get video calls when she interacts with other characters on the show.

She and Hector will have an affair when she returns to the show because they are soulmates and have more in common as opposed to Vuyiswa.
