Samsung Electronics announced today the introduction of its new Combi Fridge Freezer range (RB29 and RB31) featuring several category firsts. The new refrigerator, offers a host of unique features to maximise space, as well as superior Digital Inverter Technology to improve energy efficiency. Maximum organisation with no dead space

An Easy Slide shelf effortlessly slides in and out to enable more efficient organisation and easy storing and removal of groceries, while reducing dead space deep inside the refrigerator. In a conventional refrigerator, it is inconvenient to store and remove large items in the freezer drawers due to their small opening. But a Full Open Box in the Freezer can be pulled out fully, so you can store items corner to corner and take out large and bulky food items easily. A wider and deeper Big Door Guard has been designed to accommodate big and tall bottles perfect for larger entertaining occasions that require many and varied size beverages.

Superior Digital Inverter Technology improves energy efficiency

The new Combi Fridge Freezer, features Samsung's superior Digital Inverter Compressor, which improves energy efficiency and cooling performance by automatically adjusting its operation in response to the cooling demands. Whether due to frequent door openings, a hot plate of food, or outside temperature changes, the compressor reacts to rapidly provide cold air or slows down to reduce unnecessary energy consumption. And, unlike other models, Samsung's compressor operates quietly with a lower noise level.

And while this innovative inverter technology works to strengthen the durability and extend the life of the refrigerator, Samsung backs it up with a 10-year compressor warranty.

Delivering unmatched convenience and optimal freshness

Samsung's new Combi Fridge Freezer also offers several other special features which highlight convenience, including a 4.5-litre non plumbed water tank connected to the door dispenser that can be filled manually for chilled water on tap and LED lighting illuminates the refrigerator's interior more brightly than conventional bulb lighting and is more energy efficient.

No other refrigerator ensures optimal freshness in the same way as the new Samsung Combi Fridge Freezer. A CoolSelect zone in selected models allows consumers to control the temperature of that compartment with a simple-touch button display, maximising freshness and creating a multi-purpose space to keep both vegetables and meat fresher for longer and multi flow cooling vents provide even cooling throughout the refrigerator and will rapidly cool the temperature back down to its optimal temperature after the door has been opened.

Finally, No Frost Technology makes sure there is no ice buildup on the inside of the freezer wall and also prevents water drops from forming in the fridge.
