As part of DOOKOOM, Isaac made waves felt throughout the music scene and political sphere. He's also been making headlines as a solo artist, completing a UK tour and collaborating with other artists.

The new song BAAS digs into South Africa's painful history, putting racial oppression under the spotlight.

Mutant song BAAS' digs into South Africa's painful history [Watch] Isaac Mutant's lyrics have never held back, often choosing the most controversial topics for his work. The latest song is no exception, going after South Africa's history of white oppression.

The word baas' means boss' in Afrikaans, though carries a long history of oppression as a reference to white people. Baas' is a phrase seldom heard today, and deliberately avoided by many.

The song asks how one person becomes more important than the next.
