Embed QR codes into DAW sessions
FSK Audio's latest plug-in doesn't process audio, but serves as an organisational tool that allows QR codes to be embedded into a DAW session. QRonicle is capable of generating a code that is then displayed in its GUI, and allows users to link to information stored on a cloud drive.
Designed to eliminate time-wasting tasks such as searching through links, texts, emails and so on, the new plug-in offers a quick and simple way to set up a direct link between a DAW project and just about any information associated with the track or session. Once set up, scanning the generated code with a mobile device automatically takes users to any files they wish to link to from their project - as its just a standard QR code, it can be read from a mobile device's camera or scanner app, with no additional software required.
FSK Audio say that common use cases include:
Linking session notes and production documentation.
Leaving mix or mastering notes for collaborators.
Capturing analogue gear settings and recall information.
Documenting microphone placement with images.
Sharing lyrics during recording sessions.
Archiving behind-the-scenes content and project assets.

Compatibility QRonicle is supported on Windows and macOS (no minimum versions specified), and is available in VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions.
