Ten Years of platbricks
G tersloh - The cloud-based logistics platform platbricks from Arvato Systems is celebrating its tenth anniversary and can look back on an impressive success story. Since its launch in 2016, platbricks has developed into one of the leading platforms for the digitalization and optimization of logistics processes. Today, platbricks is used in twelve countries, has more than 75 customers and several thousand active users - including well-known companies such as ADAC, Josera from the Erbacher the food family and BB packaging. The round birthday should also be celebrated on the LogiMAT 2026 and at the platbricks Experience Day 2026.

We recognized very early on that cloud-native solutions are a fundamental driver and enabler of digitalization, emphasizes Bernd Jaschinski-Sch rmann, Head of Digital Supply Chain Management & Platform Business at Arvato Systems and platbricks expert from the very beginning. At the same time, usability is playing an increasingly important role in software decisions. Thats why we developed platbricks from the perspective of our customers right from the start - we were able to do this because we not only act as a software company, but also as process consultants in logistics, continues Jaschinski-Sch rmann. Ten years of platbricks stand for continuous innovation, partnership-based cooperation and the courage to break new ground. Today, our platform is synonymous with flexibility and future-proofing in logistics. I am particularly proud of our team and the community that have made platbricks what it is today.
Michael Keimeier, Product Owner from the very beginning, adds: platbricks was conceived from the outset as a digital modular system that adapts to the requirements of our customers. Milestones from ten years of platbricks Since its launch in 2016, platbricks has undergone impressive development and set numerous milestones:
2017: Winning the first customer and successful market launch
2018: Awarded the Digital Leader Award for innovative logistics solutions
2019: Introduction of the Warehouse Management Systems and expansion of the Healthcare Suite
2020: Extension by production supply
2021: Use for development and rollout of the Covid-19 vaccination management solution for the state of Lower Saxony
2022: Introduction of container management
2023: Exceeding the 60 customer mark
2024: Expansion of the platform to more than 500 functions and features, use in twelve countries
2025: Premiere of the platbricks Experience Day and start of the development of GenAI-supported modules
