StudioLive Series III mixers add free Fat Channel plug-ins
A whole suite of Fat Channel plug-ins is now available free to owners of PreSonus's StudioLive Series III digital consoles and rack mixers.
PreSonus Fat Channel plug-in Collection volume 1: now included with Series III mixers.PreSonus's StudioLive Series III digital consoles and rack mixer were already shipping with four free Fat Channel processing plug-ins - add-on emulations of classic processors which are simultaneously available for the mixers' processor library and in StudioOne format, so the same processing can be applied in that DAW if required - but as of last month, the range began shipping with 11 more for free, namely the entire contents of the existing Fat Channel Collection Volume 1.
Included are emulations of vintage processors and virtual channel strips - the full list is at www.presonus.com/products/Fat-Channel-Collection. Existing owners of the mixers simply have to register online and they will be able to download the extra plug-ins immediately.
