IBC 2026: Chyron Showcases Newsroom Workflow Solutions

Chyron will demonstrate news workflow solutions at IBC2026 (Stand 7.A23), marking the company's 60th anniversary. Highlights include updates to PRIME HTML, PRIME Translate, Chyron LIVE, CAMIO, AXIS News, VSAR, Chyron Weather, and Chyron Toolbox.

PRIME HTML

Chyron will preview PRIME HTML, an on-premises HTML graphics authoring and output workflow using the PBHX scene format for local-network playout. Designed to integrate with existing NRCS environments, PRIME HTML allows news teams to author and output HTML graphics without rebuilding assets in separate systems for broadcast, web, or digital delivery.

PRIME Translate

PRIME Translate identifies replaceable text in PRIME graphics, translates it into a target language, and routes the localized version to the appropriate output. The demonstration will show PRIME Translate operating within a multi-partner localization workflow supporting text, vocal, and facial movement translation.

Chyron LIVE

Chyron LIVE, a cloud-native platform combining vision mixing, broadcast graphics, clip playout, and audio commentary, will preview next-generation features for live news ahead of a full cloud newsroom MOS workflow. New capabilities include SCTE-35 ad insertion support for long-form digital streaming, with configurable pre-roll, cue-out, slate, cue-in, and return-to-program timing. A new self-managed portal on the AWS Marketplace allows teams to spin up, pause, or tear down broadcast environments on demand, with production hours purchasable using AWS credits.

CAMIO

Chyron will demonstrate CAMIO's LUCI Control Panels, which allow producers to populate graphics from the rundown using sliders, color pickers, and layout mapping. A redesigned LUCI user interface will also be previewed. AI-enhanced CAMIO capabilities on show include an AI Crop Tool for headshot centering, AI Image Tagging for asset search, and a LUCI AI Assistant for contextual template suggestions. Chyron will also preview VSAR integration with Unreal Engine's native Motion Design plugin inside the CAMIO newsroom ecosystem.

AXIS News

PRIME template support is now available within AXIS News, allowing journalists to load and customize PRIME scenes in real time. Map animation tools have been upgraded for multi-point routes timed to anchor voiceovers. Upcoming AXIS features include an AI-powered Canvas Tool with automated background removal. CAMIO connectivity routes AXIS graphics to NRCS rundowns, and VSAR integration brings AXIS assets into virtual sets as spatial AR elements.

Virtual Production

The booth will include a demonstration zone for virtual sets, augmented reality, and set extension across green screen and LED wall setups. A new low-latency VSAR Controller - a gRPC-based orchestration service - replaces legacy middleware, managing multi-instance cluster pools and remote node configuration.

Chyron Weather

Chyron Weather updates include native Climate Data Operators (CDO) integration for processing meteorological datasets directly within the system. A preview prototype will combine Chyron Weather with VSAR, allowing meteorologists to drag virtual trigger objects into their playlist to trigger environmental effects in the virtual set in real time.

Chyron Toolbox

Chyron Toolbox combines broadcast-grade scaling, compositing, and live switching in a single platform, with SDI and NDI connectivity. It supports software-only, SDI hardware, and turnkey deployment options.
