Former The Queen actors Magic Hlatshwayo and Deli Malinga are the latest stars to join e.tv's telenovela, Durban Gen.

The show also hired YouTuber Lasizwe, and actors Sandile Mahlangu, Patrick Ndlovu and Lillian Dube.

DELI MALINGA AND MAGIC HLATSHWAYO RETURN TO TV The former The Queen actors - Magic Hlatshwayo and Deli Malinga have joined Durban-based telenovela - Durban Gen.

Entertainment commentator - Phil Mphela revealed that the duo will debut on the popular telenovela next month (April).

Fans of Malinga were elated to hear that she'll soon make an appearance on their screens after her popular villain role as MaMzobe in Umkhokha.

It is unclear what roles the actors will play on the show at this stage.

OTHER DURBAN GEN' CASTINGS Other actors who recently joined the medical show include YouTuber Lasizwe, actors Lillian Dube, Patrick Ndlovu, and Sandile Mahlangu.

Viewers previously lambasted the Stained Glass TV production team for casting media personality Lasizwe Dambuza as he's not an experienced actor.

The show is the fourth most-watched telenovela on e.tv with an average of 2.2 million viewers according to TVSA.

Durban Gen airs Monday to Friday on e.tv at 18h30.

Durban Gen is playing a huge part in job creation. Mr Magic Hlatshwayo surely has a very handsome retirement package waiting for him after the career he had, he always get gigs even at his senior age.
