ITV celebrates 20 years of the world-renowned dancer, musician and choreographer Michael Flatley, from his historic first steps on the world stage and subsequent stellar rise to fame, with a TV special Michael Flatley: A Night To Remember airing soon on ITV.

Michael Flatley's innovative and ground-breaking choreography for Riverdance - and his spectacular Eurovision performance exactly 20 years ago on 30th April 1994 - was followed by massive global success with the creation of hit shows Lord Of The Dance, Feet of Flames and Celtic Tiger, which have seen this talented artist continue to wow and stun audiences around the world for two decades.

Michael Flatley: A Night To Remember sees Michael take the stage to perform on British television for the first time in over a decade, accompanied by his troupe of 30 dancers and musicians, performing some of the visionary and ground-breaking sequences which have transformed the world of dance.

Viewers will see the dancer's legendary footwork, which earned him a place in the Guinness Book of Records when he performed a jaw dropping 35 taps a second.

Hosted by Christine Bleakley, the show will be a night to remember for Michael as he looks back at his extraordinary career, from humble beginnings in Chicago to the exceptional journey which saw him become the most successful and highest paid dancer in history. Also paying tribute are friends and fans including Sir Bruce Forsyth.

The evening will also feature exclusive material and a sneak peak of Michael's new show, Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games. Former Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle, who will star as The Goddess Erin in the production, will perform the title song live in the studio.

Michael Flatley said, "The last 20 years have been an extraordinary journey for me and I am honoured that ITV are celebrating my story along with so many friends and colleagues. I'm very much looking to performing with my dancers - a hugely talented group of young people and the stars of the future - for what promises to be a very special night."

Nadine Coyle said, "It is a real honour to be working alongside Michael and his amazing troupe of dancers in the new production. To be singing the title track is an absolute dream, its such a fantastic song which perfectly captures the energy and drama of the show and I am really excited to be performing it on a night which celebrates Michaels incredible achievements over the past 20 years."
