Fox News has just gone live with their amazing new election studio! Viz Engine is driving rendering the graphics and video in all those screens with Viz Multiplay controlling the configuration and content.

Here are some behind the scenes shots from Al Jazeeras rehearsals from their control room. They were testing their virtual set which uses Viz Virtual Studio and their video wall which uses Viz Multiplay. Astucemedia created the data platform for bringing in live data feeds and controlling them live on air - they provided these photos.

CNNs election team is using Viz Engine to power an interactive screen displaying the electoral map. Live data can be displayed here and the presenter has the ability to manually change content as well as telestrate.

The ABC News team along with Astucemedia did a late night test of their screens on Times Square. All the screens you see (except for the beer in the middle) are driven by just two Viz Engines.

The UKs Sky News has built a studio on Times Square in New York for the U.S. Election. Special editions of Sunrise, All Out Politics, Sky News Tonight and Murnaghan will broadcast from the location with main coverage led by Jeremy Thompson, who is working his sixth US election, with Adam Boulton, Kay Burley, Gillian Joseph, Sarah-Jane Mee, Dermot Murnaghan and Jeremy Thompson. Sky News makes extensive use of Viz Engine for rendering their graphics and Viz Pilot for their newsroom workflow. Read the article from NewscastStudio

We visited Al Jazeera America yesterday to take a look at how they are preparing for todays election. They are Viz Engine to render all of the graphics you will see on election night, Viz Pilot for newsroom workflows, and Viz Ticker. NBC News Lester Holt gives a tour of the NBC Election Center which they have been using on-air since the weekend. It takes advantage of a video wall to show election results as well as live views out to Democracy Plaza where they will show election results using augmented reality graphics.
