BAFTA has announced the dates for both the Television Craft Awards and annual British Academy Television Awards.

Both ceremonies were originally due to take place earlier this year but were postponed due to coronavirus.

The Academy has now confirmed the Television Craft Awards will take place on Friday 17th July and will be broadcast as-live through BAFTA's social channels. Stephen Mangan will return to host the Craft Awards for ninth time.

The slightly glitzier British Academy Television Awards will be held on Friday 31st July and will be broadcast as-live on BBC One that evening. Richard Ayoade will act as host.

Both events will take place as closed studio, socially-distanced shows, with nominees invited to accept their awards virtually.

Nominations for both awards will be announced on Thursday 4th June, at 7:30am (BST).

We want to celebrate and reward the talented individuals who make up the television industry, both behind and in-front of the camera, many of whom have continued to entertain and inform the nation in recent weeks.
