Vizrt signs broadcast graphics deal wor in exce of USD 500,000 with UK production company Delta Tre

Bergen, Norway, June 27, 2013, Vizrt Ltd. (Oslo Main List: VIZ)

Vizrt Ltd. announced today a deal with UK-based production company Delta Tre worth in excess of USD 500,000 for the implementation of additional broadcast graphics products. An existing customer, the production company covers live sports matches, as well as produces highlight shows for each match.

The deal includes Viz Trio, Vizrt's character generator (CG), for live production of all real-time graphics, including lower thirds, match-ups, and score boards. Viz Virtual Studio will create augmented reality graphics on set , providing presenters with a new way of highlighting key players and match-ups.

For pre-production, Delta Tre purchased Viz NLE. This tool is part of Viz Trio and gives editors access to template-based graphics on a timeline in their native craft editing system. This provides continuity for the look & feel of graphics for live and pre-produced content.

All graphics are rendered in real-time by Vizrt's powerful real-time 3D compositing system, Viz Engine.

Delta Tre specializes in sports production that is both technical and engaging to the audience. Commonly using data-driven graphics for live productions, Delta Tre has used Vizrt since 2004 for its strength in data visualization. Over the years, Delta Tre has added additional Vizrt graphics products to their existing workflow, without having to make any changes to their infrastructure.
