IABM renueva su junta directiva La espa ola Esther Mesas, en representaci n de Tedial; Andreas Hilmer (Lawo), J rg Pohlman (ARRI); Kevin Usher (Avid); Nicki Fisher (Clear-Com), Muriel De Lathouwer (EVS), Alison Pavitt (Pebble Beach), Tim Felstead (SAM), Anna Lockwood (Telstra), y David MacGregor (TSL) son las nuevas incorporaciones al m ximo rgano de gobierno de la asociaci n.
Tras la elecci n bienal a cargos en la Junta Directiva de la Asociaci n Internacional de Fabricantes de la industria de broadcast y media, la IABM ha incorporado nuevo miembros a este entidad que desde hace cuarenta a os vela por los intereses del sector. El IABM Board es el responsable de marcar la estrategia de la asociaci n as como de revisar y marcar sus pol ticas, adem s de llevar un control financiero de la misma.
La nueva incorporaci n a la Junta Directiva de profesionales de alto nivel refleja la proyecci n internacional de IABM. Los nuevos miembros del IABM Board son la espa ola Esther Mesas, en representaci n de Tedial; Andreas Hilmer (Lawo), J rg Pohlman (ARRI), Kevin Usher (Avid), Nicki Fisher (Clear-Com), Muriel De Lathouwer (EVS), Alison Pavitt (Pebble Beach), Tim Felstead (SAM), Anna Lockwood (Telstra) y David MacGregor (TSL).
Completan la Junta, su presidente James Gilbert de Pixel Power, los ex-presidente Jan Eveleens de Axon, Marco L pez de Grass Valley Group, Glenn LeBrun de Imagine Communications y Peter Sykes de Sony. Adem s, los presidentes de los Consejos Regionales IABM de APAC y Norteam rica Dennis Breckenridge de Elevate Broadcast y Michael Accardi de CueScript respectivamente tambi n tendr n un asiento en el rgano de direcci n. asientos en la Junta. El vicepresidente Graham Pitman, el consejero delegado de IABM, Peter White, y la directora financiera, Lucinda Meek, completan el staff directivo.
Peter White, CEO de IABM, ha se alado que la Junta Directiva desempe a un papel clave en el xito continuo de IABM, y su nueva composici n es una fuente de conocimiento de la industria que representa los m s amplios intereses de los miembros. Estoy deseando aprovechar cada gota de su experiencia para seguir impulsando la asociaci n con nuevas ideas e iniciativas para ofrecer cada vez m s valor y apoyo a todos nuestros miembros .
Andreas Hilmer, de Lawo, Andreas Hilmer, reconoce que est deseando contribuir a IABM. Despu s de la banda base anal gica y digital, nuestra industria est migrando a su tercera generaci n de infraestructura. Esto incluye no s lo la tecnolog a IP sino tambi n el procesamiento definido por software, la orquestaci n y el control sin fisuras de los recursos de red, as como los flujos de trabajo automatizados inteligentes. Simplemente lo llamamos Broadcast 3.0, e IABM est en la posici n de conducir tanto a fabricantes como a radiodifusores a trav s de estos tiempos dif ciles .
Por su parte, Esther Mesas, de Tedial, destaca que la industria de la radiodifusi n ha sufrido una transformaci n importante y ahora estamos viviendo tiempos hist ricos. Internet ha estallado en la escena, suponiendo un cambio fundamental a lo largo de toda la cadena de la difusi n, desde el consumidor a los fabricantes y proveedores. Adem s de cambiar los h bitos de consumo, esta transformaci n afecta a la forma en la que se suministra el contenido. Este cambio se ha reflejado en la tecnolog a broadcast y en el modelo de negocio tradicional, desafiando a todas las empresas que forman parte de la cadena de suministro de contenido. Estoy muy feliz de ser parte de esta transformaci n fascinante y entusiasmada por haber sido elegida para formar parte de la Junta Directiva de IABM.
