The Approval of SORACOM's Listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market

-- KDDI announces that its consolidated subsidiary, SORACOM, INC. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Ken Tamagawa, hereinafter SORACOM) has been approved for a new listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market as of February 20, 2024. The listing date is scheduled for March 26, 2024.

SORACOM joined the KDDI Group in August 2017. Since then, SORACOM has grown its IoT business. SORACOM, an IoT connectivity platform, is being utilized as a communication service that connects over 6 million devices [

1] across various industries such as energy, manufacturing, finance, consumer products, healthcare, and agriculture, by over 20,000 customers worldwide. From day one, SORACOM has been aiming to become a global platform which supports customers who create a connected society.

KDDI, a shareholder of SORACOM, along with SECOM CO., LTD., Sourcenext Corporation, Sony Group Corporation, Nippon Gas Co., Ltd. (NICIGAS), Hitachi, Ltd., and World Innovation Lab (WiL), will support the listing of globally viable startup companies like SORACOM and will continue to proactive support SORACOMs growth.
