UX Leader to Feature VR and Other Innovations at NAB 2017
Las Vegas, 6th April 2017, NAB 2017 booth #SU9205CM - Accedo, the video experience pioneer, will demonstrate its latest user experience (UX) innovations, including a new approach that enables an exciting and immersive virtual reality (VR) sports experience. Accedo is also joining with key partners including Brightcove and Comcast Technology Solutions to showcase their integrated offerings for OTT and video service providers. NAB is the leading conference and exhibition for the broadcast industry in North America, taking place in Las Vegas from April 24-27.
Key demonstrations at the Accedo booth will include:
A new virtual reality experience produced in conjunction with HTC VIVE that provides users with an exciting new way to experience content including live sports and events.
Videa, Accedo's cloud-based platform for building, delivering and managing high performing video apps on phone, tablet and TV screens.
AppGrid, a data-driven application management solution that delivers real-time control by combining content management, analytics, configuration and A/B testing.
Brightcove OTT Flow , powered by Accedo, will be highlighted on the Brightcove booth (SU2724). OTT Flow is an award-winning OTT solution for video content providers looking to rapidly launch and make money from OTT services across multiple devices.

Fredrik Andersson, SVP and co-founder will participate in multiple sessions throughout the show at the Connected Media|IP Theater on topics including virtual reality and building a compelling user experience. This includes moderating a panel, Next Generation Video UX - How Will Virtual Reality Affect Video Entertainment? The panel will discuss the user experience potential of VR and feature Nokia's Head of VR Technologies, Tarif Sayed, and Ralf Jacob, President, Verizon Digital Media Services.
