NAB Show New York: TVU Networks' New TVU Transcriber Solution and TimeLock Technology to Make U.S. Debut 17th October 2017

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - October 17, 2017 - At the upcoming NAB Show New York, TVU Networks will showcase its latest IP video solutions and innovations, including the brand new TVU Transcriber service and TVU TimeLock technology, along with the TVU One with HEVC mobile IP transmitter and TVU RPS (Remote Production System). Taking place October 18-19 at the Javits Convention Center, TVU Networks will exhibit in booth N836.

As part of the company's commitment to expanding its At-home/REMI (remote-integration model) remote production solution offerings, TVU is unveiling its new TimeLock technology - which enables multiple TVU Transmitters to synchronize together at a set latency, allowing mobile and wireless At-home/REMI productions without being tethered. Multiple camera crews can roam throughout a production area covering live events and transmit to standard TVU Transceivers, which output synchronized SDI or IP outputs. TVU TimeLock enables entire remote events to be produced from a control room in a separate location.

TVU TimeLock joins TVU RPS in the company's remote production solution offerings. TVU RPS provides an alternative for live remote synchronized multi-camera coverage for news and sports. Instead of having to rely on expensive on-location production trucks and large production crews, TVU RPS allows broadcasters to leverage their existing studio control room infrastructure to deliver frame accurate, genlocked and synchronized multi-camera remote production. TVU RPS features an easy-to-use web interface for monitoring and controlling all aspects of the transmission, including real-time previews of all channels, current bit-rate and latency.

Also to be introduced for the first time in the U.S. is TVU Transcriber, an AI-based audio to text transcribing service. Using voice recognition technology, the service provides the option to output text to a file format from an audio input source for auditing purposes or embed text into a video stream for closed or open captioning. TVU Transcriber can be purchased standalone or added as an option to TVU Transceivers.

TVU Networks will also showcase its TVU One live mobile IP newsgathering transmitter with integrated HEVC compression standard. Featuring the company's patented Inverse Statmux Plus (IS+) transmission algorithm, TVU One can deliver HD quality video with half-second latency at 3Mbps even in a fast-moving vehicle. It's available with embedded modems and can transmit simultaneously over multiple mediums, including cellular, microwave, satellite, BGAN, WiFi and Ethernet. Currently available for purchase, TVU One with HEVC is a finalist in this year's Streaming Media Readers' Choice Awards in the cellular bonding solution category.
