Brainstorm will introduce SmartSet, the template-based virtual studio solution

Brainstorm, leading manufacturer of real-time 3D graphics, virtual set and augmented reality solutions, will be present at the upcoming Broadcast Asia exhibition on stand 4P3-01. Brainstorm regards Asia as one of its most important regional markets and the company will once again strengthen its presence with a sizeable booth in the Spanish Pavilion.

Attendees will be able to enjoy an impressive live virtual studio demonstration, a theatre presentation which will showcase the advanced features of InfinitySet, Brainstorm's virtual set and augmented reality solution, and further enhanced by graphics and other content created by Aston, Brainstorm's 2D/3D motion graphics creation, CG and playout solution.

InfinitySet's HandsTracking feature - which enables presenters to trigger animations and graphics with the simple movement of their hands - is part of the patented TrackFree technology which is unique to Brainstorm and which offers tracking capabilities without any external hardware required. Top of the list of must see' features available thanks to TrackFree is the TeleTransporter, Brainstorm's revolutionary virtual traveler' feature. 3D Presenter is another unique TrackFree based feature that generates a true 3D representation of the live presenter. This enables him or her to cast virtual shadows and reflections over other real and 3D objects within the virtual environment, greatly enhancing the realism of the program content and adding to the creative possibilities provided by InfinitySet. In short, what Brainstorm has done is to change the rules of the game by offering the versatility of tracking environments but without the complexity and at the much lower cost of a trackless solution

Brainstorm will also introduce SmartSet at Broadcast Asia after its launch at NAB. SmartSet is a template-based playout solution designed for small and local TV stations, and which provides advanced Virtual Set and Augmented Reality applications without the need to create the sets themselves. Brainstorm's template solutions play out content to air which has been created by using pre-defined or purpose-built templates designed on Brainstorm applications.

There will also be a separate pod for one-to-one demonstrations to showcase the wide range of other Brainstorm products including the latest generation of Astons four decades after the first ones were launched. The current family of Aston products represent the most powerful and versatile 2D and 3D graphics solution available today. OnDemand, Brainstorm's multi-purpose playout solution, will also be on display.
