Adobe Announces New Tools & Features for Video at Adobe MAX

Today at Adobe MAX, Adobe announced the latest release for Creative Cloud, empowering video professionals to work smarter, deliver faster, and do more creatively, including Auto Reframe in Premiere Pro, which previewed at IBC earlier this year. Available today, the new versions of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Character Animator, Audition, and Premiere Rush offer performance improvements and workflow refinements that empower you to work smarter, deliver faster, and do more creatively.

The Adobe applications provide creative environments for exploring ideas freely - and precision controls for refining the results until you have the story you want. To that end, we're excited to bring you Character Animator 3.0 in this newest release. Character Animator introduces new scene cameras that enrich your animations with camera moves, add dynamics to dialog, and bring rhythm to your narrative.

Time remapping in Premiere Pro is now extended to 20,000%. This tool offers you options for accenting moments in your story with creative speed changes. For VFX work, support for multilayer EXR files in After Effects allows you to finesse effects on individual layers of your images for photoreal results or stylized looks. Work smarter

Adobe Sensei is our name for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning technologies that accelerate time-consuming video production tasks. Today we're releasing the latest Adobe Sensei innovation: Auto Reframe in Premiere Pro. Using this tool, your carefully crafted film can now be optimized for square, vertical, 16:9, or custom aspect ratios. With the wide variety of modern viewing platforms used today, Auto Reframe will save hours of time by removing the tedious task of manually reformatting your content with shot-by-shot keyframing.

Auto Reframe uses Adobe Sensei technology to analyze your footage and apply intelligent panning and cropping to keep the action in the frame. It can be applied to individual clips or to whole sequences. The results are adjustable; you retain creative control.

Deliver faster

In an age of growing content velocity, the Adobe applications enable you to move through projects faster while maintaining high quality standards, thanks to flexible and efficient workflows and robust native format support. Building on these core strengths, the latest releases deliver performance improvements, such as real-time playback for cached previews in After Effects, so you can iterate faster on motion graphics (and Motion Graphics templates).
