Story Highlights
From a production perspective, the Sports Emmy for Outstanding Live Special is the biggest honor of the night. Many noteworthy productions were nominated, but NBC Sports' presentation of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics came out on top.
At the ceremony, NBC Olympics' Executive Producer Molly Solomon explains the logistical and operational hurdles that needed to be navigated in order to produce a successful event and how the network continues to come up with fresh ideas every two to four years.
