RTIs RK0 In-Wall Touchpanel Controller Now Shipping

Designed to take full command of a rooms environmental and information technology, the RK10 combines the power of a PC with the reliability and ease-of-use of an intuitive touchscreen control system.

The RK10 offers the size, power, and flexibility required in sophisticated installations and perfectly fits in any environment, whether its a boardroom, MDU, or kitchen. Featuring a beautiful 10.2-inch TFT widescreen LCD touchscreen and a powerful Intel Atom processor, the RK10 allows for control, Web browsing, IP camera monitoring, and more.

The controller features a fully programmable and intuitive user interface courtesy of RTIs Integration Designer software, making it easy to display custom buttons, text, and graphics. For complete control, a built-in wired and wireless (802.11 b/g) Ethernet connection allows access to video from network security cameras, convenient programming, full two-way communication with RTI XP series control processors, control of PC music libraries, and much more.

With its impressive 10.2-inch LCD touchscreen and Intel Atom processor, the RK10 is a workhorse of a controller with the real estate and power needed for intuitive control of equipment, environment, Internet, and IT resources, said Pete Baker, vice president of sales and marketing for RTI. Furthermore, control and communication possibilities are endless with built-in wired and wireless Ethernet and even direct RS-232 control.

Perfectly suited for any setting, the RK10 offers a stylish low-profile faceplate available in black or white with a gloss finish. Flexible mounting options allow the unit to be flush- or surface- mounted on a wall, or to be attached to standard VESA-style display mounts. When used with the available RTI accessory devices, the unit is capable of infrared routing, relay control, power sensing, and two-way RS-232 communications for advanced control.

The RK10 is available now at an MSRP of $3,499.
