Fujifilm and NewTom Formalise New Partnership

NewTom featured on Fujifilm's stand at UKIO 2019

In late 2018 Fujifilm became a UK distributor for NewTom, the Italian cone beam CT specialists. This partnership has allowed Fujifilm to offer a broader portfolio of imaging modalities to their UK customers, and a number of NewTom systems have already been installed into UK hospitals.

Fujifilm featured NewTom on their stand at UKIO, where the GiANO HR and 5G XL generated a lot of interest from delegates. NewTom were the first to develop and market cone beam CT, which offers distortion free 3D images at very low dose with SafeBeam technology.

The 5G XL allows clinicians to achieve high resolution volumetric images whilst the patient is in a supine position - a unique feature which offers a range of applications in medical imaging. The GiANO HR is a flexible and adaptable system with a range of 2D and 3D examination options. The NewTom portfolio, that also includes the VGi evo and NewTom GO, offers a range of specialist imaging solutions for dental, ENT, maxillofacial, orthopaedic and paediatric examinations.
