New Head of Design to lead implementation of future technology trends
Ulrich Voigt is new Head of Design at Qvest Media. Voigt joins Qvest Media from IBM. In his new role, he will be promoting the assessment, development and implementation of technological trends and other future-related topics as well as the expansion of knowledge management.
As Head of Design, Ulrich Voigt (45) is responsible for the technological alignment of services and products for the global consulting and systems integration projects of Qvest Media. In addition, he will determine future topics through targeted market observations, evolve technological trends, and develop their implementation and application in line with the company's strategy. The aim is to further strengthen Qvest Media's leading role as a pioneer of innovative, technological systems integration projects in the fields of broadcasting, media and telecommunications. Furthermore, Ulrich Voigt will advance the organisational structure and knowledge management of Qvest Media, adapting them to the company's growth.
Managing Director Daniel Url is thrilled about the new addition to the team and sees particular potential in the further development of Qvest Media's key role as an important technology specialist: A major strength in our company is the fact that we have always been able to recognise and adapt to market changes very quickly. With Ulrich Voigt leading our technology analysis, we will be able to further enhance this capacity and implement it for the benefit of our customers.
Consequently, the new Head of Design will start by attending to current topics such as managed technology, media intelligence as well as OTT and their integration into Qvest Media's value chain. As Senior Lead Architect and Senior Managing Consultant at IBM, Ulrich Voigt was previously responsible for technical design and the implementation of broadcast projects in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
