Friends and family gathered at the Lewende Woord church, in Centurion, on Wednesday 23 November to pay tribute to Oupa John Sefoka, popularly known as DJ Sumbody, at an all-white memorial service.

Cassper Nyovest breaks down in tears at DJ Sumbody memorial According to Briefly News, rapper Cassper Nyovest broke down in tears at the memorial service as he shared some fond memories in a touching tribute to his former close friend.

Everything we know about Monate Mpolaye' hitmaker s shooting death The amapiano pioneer tragically died in a hail of bullets alongside his driver and bodyguard Wolter Sbusiso during a drive-by shooting in the early hours of Sunday morning 20 November in Woodmead Drive, Johannesburg.

The Monate Mpolaye hitmaker and music producer was due to perform at his 4th annual All-White Veuve Clicquot Picnic at Ayepyep Lifestyle Lounge, in Pretoria.
iHarare reported that another one of his bodyguards is in critical condition after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds to his abdomen area. It also stated that more than 40 bullet casings were found at the scene of the shooting.
Upon arrival at the scene, police found two people inside a VW Golf with gunshot wounds. Both the driver and the passenger were certified dead on the scene. It was reported that the third victim was driving a BMW X5 and was taken to the nearest medical care center after sustaining gunshot wounds, Gauteng police spokesperson Mavela Masondo was quoted as saying in an EWN report.
He added that the investigation is still underway with the Gauteng police searching for the suspects.
