Talented actress Gugu Gumede, who played the character of MaMlambo for several seasons in Uzalo has reprised her role on the soapie after giving birth nine months ago.

INSIDE GUGU GUMEDE'S RETURN The actress Gugu Gumede, who is known as prophetess MaMlambo in Uzalo announced on her Instagram account that she's coming back.
Her character is popular for assisting KwaMashu residents with their problems and helping her friend.

MAMLAMBO ON UZALO' The TVSA October teasers confirm that MaMlambo will return on Thursday, 20 October.
MaMlambo tells Njinji that the wrath of her ancestors is upon her.

Friday 28 October:
Njinji will have to undergo a cleansing to appease her late husband. MaMlambo needs to get rid of an unwanted visitor in her house.
Monday 31 October:
MaMlambo unwittingly gets in Gabisile's bad books.
Daily Sun also revealed that Uzalo popular actor Bonga Dlamini, who played Mkhonto will also return.
The publication adds that Dlamini will not be with the show for long and will upset viewers.
The TVSA October teasers reveal that Mkhonto will find out Nosipho is pregnant with Mondli's baby after Pastor Gwala proposed marriage.
Mkhonto is knocked for a six when he learns that Nosipho is expecting another man's child.
