Software to keep you sane during self-isolation
Staying sane during social isolation isn't easy, but a number of software companies have stepped up to the plate to offer either discounts or price-waiving on some of their audio tools, or in some cases generous demo terms that let you use their premium software for free for an extended period.

Antelope Audio
As part of their Together We Create initiative, Antelope Audio are offering $1000 worth of vouchers to spend on their DSP-powered plug-ins to anyone who buys a Discrete 4 Synergy Core, Discrete 8 Synergy Core, Orion Studio Synergy Core, Zen Studio Synergy Core, or Orion 32+ Gen 3 interface between now and the end of May. Prime Loops
Lockdown loop library released for free! Contains 100 individual loops, or 280MB of audio content.
Protege
Online production school Protege is offering a free week of premium tuition, led by multi-award-winning producer/composer duo Richard Schrieber and Vikram Gudi.
Sennheiser
Throughout May, and to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the HS 280 Pro, Sennheiser are offering their classic closed-back design for a reduced price of 79 (in the EU).
Solid State Logic
SSL have released a new affordable plug-in bundle called Native Essentials, which comprises their acclaimed Bus Compressor and ChannelStrip processors. Its available for just $4.99 a month.
Sonarworks & SCV
Sonarworks and their UK distributors, SCV, are offering a 20% discount on their acclaimed headphone- and room-correction software suites. The discount applies to pretty much every version of Sonarworks, from the Monoprice headphones-plus-software bundle to the pro Sonarworks Reference 3 package. But youll have to be quick: the reduced price is only available from 24th-27th April.

New Balancer auto-level-setting plug-in released free of charge. In addition, they're giving away a free 80's-style arcade game, and whoever gets the highest score on it each day wins one of Sonible's premium plug-ins!
Soundtoys
The Effect Rack, a multi-effects plug-in that includes some of Soundtoys most-loved effects (including Echo Boy and Decapitator) will be completely free to use up until 30th June.
Steinberg
In keeping with the spirit of self-isolation, Steinberg are offering a generous 50% discount on their VST Connect remote-recording software tool, until 30th June.
Sweetwater & iZotope
US customers can get a copy of iZotopes acclaimed Ozone Elements 9 absolutely free, thanks to a tie-in with online retailers Sweetwater.
Synchro Arts
Throughout May, Synchro Arts are offering their acclaimed ReVoice Pro and VocAlign Pro time-alignment software for half its usual price. In addition, all owners of existing licences for their software will receive an extra 90-day licence for free, to help out users who have been ill and thus unable to use their software.
TapeWrm Audio
New software company TapeWrm Audio are offering their Producers Bundle of creative processing plug-ins for just $60, down from the usual price of $110.
Two Notes
Until May 11th, guitar-amp modelling experts Two Notes are giving away lifetime licences for their Wall Of Sound cabinet and miking simulation plug-in. Wall Of Sound includes seven virtual cab models plus their room- and mic-position simulting technology.
