Broadcast Pix BPswitch Integrated Production Switchers
Earn Best of Show Award at NAB 2017 from TV Technology
Chelmsford, Massachusetts May 8, 2017 Broadcast Pix today announced its new BPswitch family of integrated video production switchers received NewBay's Best of Show Award, presented last month at the 2017 NAB Show by TV Technology. BPswitch features the industry's first comprehensive control-over-IP platform, allowing full access to switching, CG, clips, robotic camera control, and more from anywhere via tablet, smartphone, laptops, and traditional control panels. It delivers live production flexibility for video professionals, and provides an ideal solution for remote unmanned studios for broadcasters.
NewBay's Best of Show Awards are evaluated by a panel of engineers and industry experts, and are selected based on innovation, feature set, cost efficiency, and performance in serving the industry. The company publishes a number of industry print and digital publications, including TV Technology, Digital Video, Sound & Video Contractor, and Government Video.

BPswitch delivers secure, control-over-IP capabilities with full-motion video and ultra-low control latency. It employs the Broadcast Pix Commander user interface in a standard web browser to control a local BPswitch or a remote BPswitch using BPNet , Broadcast Pix's IP ecosystem. All three BPswitch models are 4K upgradeable and include hybrid SDI and IP I/O, up to eight internal channels for clips and graphics, NewBlueNTX graphics, customizable multi-view, file-based macros, built-in streaming, and more. BPswitch models will ship in September starting at $10,995.
