KCETs Artbound Wins National Entertainment Journalism Award

Burbank, Calif. - Nov. 25, 2013 - KCETs award-winning arts and culture series, Artbound, has won a National Entertainment Journalism Award for Best Feature Documentary or Special Program at this years Sixth Annual National Entertainment Journalism Awards, presented by the Los Angeles Press Club. Executive Producer Juan Devis, Bruce Dickson, Justin Cram, Matthew Crotty & Drew Tewksbury received the award for Artbound Season 2, episode 2.

This year, Artbound was nominated for six awards, including Best Entertainment Website for the second consecutive year and Best Documentary or Special Program, Short, which it was awarded last year.

It is an honor to be recognized again by the Los Angeles Press Club among such a distinguished batch of nominees, said Juan Devis, VP of Arts and Culture Programming, KCETLink. Artbound continues to showcase the diverse arts and culture scene of our region. We are pleased to be acknowledged for our dedication to cultural journalism.

The awards were presented during a gala ceremony held at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel on Nov. 24, 2013. The NEJ awards, currently in its sixth year, recognizes the finest work from US-based entertainment reporters and editors, and theater, film, and television critics in all media-print, radio, TV, and online. This includes international journalists working in a language other than English.
