Story Highlights
The SVG College Summit may be done but you can still browse the latest in exciting technology as the SVG Tech Portals are open!
The SVG Tech Portals feature video interviews, case studies, product demos, and resources from leading sports-technology vendors like Ross Video, Canon, Daktronics, Cloudian, EVS, Signiant, and The Studio B&H.
Ross Video announced the Ross Live |2020 program of product launches, solutions updates and live production seminars in a ten week schedule. Kicking off April 28th with a look at exciting updates to XPression real-time motion graphics and closing on July 14th with a One More Thing!' reveal, Ross will be unveiling some brand-new solutions designed to help Collegiate Sports productions to create high impact, high efficiency productions. Also, part of the program is a weekly Living Live podcast, in audio and video form, that will focus on a different element of live production and explore it fully.
Canon USA, a leader in digital imaging solutions, reveals details behind two of their major NAB 2020 product introductions - the C300 Mark III Cinema EOS camera and the CINE-SERVO 25-250mm T2.95-3.95. What's more, details will be shared on the new Ask Canon Series, an online education series dedicated to supporting the college sports production community with technology overviews and operational techniques provided in the areas of Video Production and Sports Photography.
Cloudian is a file and object storage company specializing in 100% native S3 API storage systems. Cloudian's object-based platform, HyperStore, provides limitless scalability to help enterprises deal with the explosive growth of unstructured data affordably and easily, and HyperFile extends object storage capabilities to file storage.
Daktronics is excited to introduce an expansion to our Show Control product portfolio, including Studio and Live product lines, which provide solutions for more applications than ever before. The entire Show Control product portfolio forms a cohesive, integrated solution, with workflows fulfilling many different needs in your sporting events control room - from LED display control to live broadcast. Check out our portal resources for more information, including access to our virtual presentation program which gives an inside look at the exciting capabilities of our Show Control product portfolio.
With the EVS X-One unified live production system, one or two operators can perform the entire live programming of a show from just a set of intuitive touchscreens. Ideal for smaller-scale and mid-sized productions, as well as OTT distribution, the all-in-one solution has new advanced features, such as clipping, automatic and multiple highlights creation and external audio support.
The sports world has had to adapt quickly during this pandemic and find creative ways to keep fans engaged and fill air time. We've seen acceleration of some trends that were happening anyway from an explosion of remote production, a surge in cloud adoption, more Esports events and the repurposing of archived content. Signiant software plays a key role in each of those things and we would love to share some thoughts on what we're seeing across the industry during this unique time.
College sports organizations can save time and money by purchasing through the competitively awarded E&I contract for Higher Ed, K-12, and non-profit organizations.
