Bella Paige to compete for Australia in Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015

13-year-old Bella has been singing since the age of 6 and is already an accomplished and experienced performer. Australian audiences may remember her as the first ever child to audition on The Voice Kids Australia, where she went all the way to the Grand Final and was runner-up in 2014.

The song Bella Paige will perform on the Junior Eurovision stage is My Girls.

The uplifting pop anthem which carries an inspiring message for young girls has been co-written by Australian music industry superstar Delta Goodrem, along with Grammy-award nominated Mitch Allan (written and produced multi-platinum hits for Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Jason Derulo) and Los Angeles-based composer and producer Vince Pizzinga.

Delta Goodrem said: I'm so proud to be able to share this special song with Bella for Junior Eurovision. Bella has a phenomenal voice and so much confidence on the stage, and I know she is going to absolutely wow Europe with her performance. I'll be cheering her on with the rest of Australia come November.

Bella Paige said: I couldnt believe it when I found out I was selected to represent Australia and I'm so excited to be singing my single, My Girls on a global stage in Bulgaria.

My Girls is an incredible song with a powerful message to all girls and was co-written by the inspiring singer songwriter Delta Goodrem. No matter what ups and downs we go through, it is important to stay strong, support each other, believe in yourself, dream big and know you can achieve your goals and dreams.

Bella was selected by SBS and production partner Blink TV as the perfect young artist to showcase Australia's musical talents to the world.

Director of Blink TV Paul Clarke said: When we first heard Bella's voice our first reaction was that we couldn't believe she was 13! This is a brilliant vocal performance for any age, and I'm sure Europe will be impressed. Junior Eurovision this year is on a huge stage, and it's great to know that we have a huge talent who can fill it, and who we can all get behind. It's doubly impressive that she's so grounded and likeable as a person. She has big shoes to fill behind Jessica Mauboy and Guy Sebastian, but I'm sure Bella will do well.

SBS will broadcast the Junior Eurovision Song Contest at 7.30pm Saturday 28 November on SBS. Eurovision fans can also tune in to SBS's LIVE coverage of the contest from Sofia, Bulgaria, at 4.30am Sunday 22 November on SBS.
