VSN presents its innovative developments at IBC 05 with two important events

During this edition of IBC, VSN Innovation & Media Solutions will take an active part on the development of knowledge for the Broadcast and Media & Entertainment industries with two important conferences, one in collaboration with Windows Azure on cloud technology for MAM systems and another one to explain its participation in the prestigious EUMSSI European Project, aimed at developing a new event understanding tool for journalists. VSN is one of the highlights of IBC 2015 with two special events

On Saturday 12, at Microsoft's stand (Hall 13 MS1, MS2) a special event will be dedicated to the integration of cloud service Windows Azure with VSNEXPLORER, VSN's media management solution with MAM, PAM, BPM and BI modules. This integration enhances collaborative work from different locations and offices, allowing users around the world to access the same content in real time, boosting the media lifecycle, reducing costs and delivery times and increasing productivity.

Mr. Ra l Mar n, VSN's Senior Software Engineer, will conduct a conference on Tuesday, the 15th, at 12pm at VSN Stand (7D25) about the EUMSSI European Project, financed by the European Commission and developed in collaboration with some of the most important R&D institutions in Europe (such as Pompeu Fabra University, German public broadcaster Deutsche Welle, IDIAP Research Institute from Switzerland or the Leibniz University of Hannover).

The main goal of EUMSSI (Event Understanding through Multimodal Stream Interpretation) is to develop technologies for identifying and aggregating data presented as unstructured information in sources of very different nature (video, image, audio, speech, text and social context), including both online (e.g., YouTube) and traditional media (e.g. audio visual repositories), and dealing with information of very different degrees of granularity.

With these two important events, VSN proves it leadership as one of the industry's key speakers at the most important show of the year.
