Netflix Unveils the Official Trailer for the Second Season of Breathless

Netflix has unveiled today the trailer and new images for the second season of Breathless, Netflix's first Spanish hospital drama that left everyone breathless. This new installment will feature eight new episodes and will premiere globally on October 31.

The series stars Najwa Nimri (The Red Virgin, Money Heist), Aitana S nchez-Gij n (Parallel Mothers, Velvet Collection), Blanca Su rez (The Footprint of Evil, Cable Girls), Manu R os (Elite, Muted), Borja Luna (Cristo y Rey, No Traces), and Alfonso Bassave (The Immortal, I'm Alive). Joining the cast this season are Pablo Albor n, Gustavo Salmer n, and Rachel Lascar. The ensemble is completed by Ana Rayo, Macarena de Rueda, Blanca Mart nez, Abril Zamora, Xo n F rneas, Marwa Bakhat, and Claudia Traisac, among others.

The Joaqu n Sorolla is now a privately managed hospital, challenging the convictions and principles of its doctors. Beyond getting her own way, Patricia (Najwa Nimri) continues to battle cancer while growing closer to N stor (Borja Luna). J sica (Blanca Su rez) is trying to regain her trademark confidence but finds herself torn between Llu s (Alfonso Bassave) and Biel (Manu R os). Pilar (Aitana S nchez-Gij n) continues to deal with her son's addictions, though Quique (X an F rneas) will find an unexpected ally in her when the hospital's new management forces him to make a questionable decision. Adding to the turmoil is the arrival of a renowned oncologist, Sophie (Rachel Lascar), determined to turn the hospital upside down.

Created by Carlos Montero (Elite, The Mess You Leave Behind) and produced by El Desorden Crea, the series features Carlos Montero, Diego Betancor, and Carlos Ruano as executive producers. Directed by David Pinillos, Marta Font, and Abril Zamora, Breathless is written by Carlos Montero, Carlos Ruano, Guillermo Escribano, Adela Guti rrez, and Nach Sol s.
