Mistika 10 released with new features suggested by the global Color Community and further optimization of the all-new Color GUI

SGO has released Mistika 10, providing a massive upgrade to Mistika Ultima and Boutique, elevating the efficiency and finesse of color-based processes and workflows.

With a completely new color interface and extensive list of added features and enhancements, Mistika Boutique and Ultima creatives are able to liberate the exceptional power of this cutting-edge grading toolset, said Geoff Mills, Managing Director at SGO. During the Open Beta period, SGO has been listening closely to the global color community, gathering information and translating it into new functionalities and optimization of the new Color User Interface of Mistika 10.

Among the extensive list of upgrades in the latest release, Mistika users will be able to find enhanced Shapes functionality, better responsiveness of the new Color GUI, an upgraded experience grading with Tangent color control panels and numerous stability improvements made throughout the software. Up next: FX Presets & Storyboard GUI overhaul In the next version, planned for August, we will be introducing even more new color tools, additional SDK support and other tweaks that will greatly contribute to the color workflow productivity and efficiency of Mistika Boutique and Ultima, shared Adrian Gonzalez Diaz, Mistika Boutique Product Manager at SGO.

Continuing the philosophy of enhancing the user experience and maximizing the productivity of post-production workflows, future developments of Mistika 10 will be focused on the GUI redesign of other finishing toolsets, starting with FX Presets and Storyboard. By completely overhauling these two areas, users will not only be able to perform color correction at the highest level of precision and finesse, but also manage grades between the shots with increased efficiency, explained Gonzalez, emphasizing SGO's continuous commitment to Color Community.
