PBS and PBS KIDS Receive Daytime Emmy Nominations

On March 22, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominees for the 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Entertainment Awards. PBS and PBS KIDS programs received 31 Daytime Emmy Award nominations. In addition, APT received a total of 7 nominations and NETA earned one for a combined total of 39 nominations for public media. Among the PBS programs with multiple nominations are ODD SQUAD (15), THE MIND OF A CHEF (5) and PEG CAT (3).

The Daytime Emmy Awards will be presented on April 30, 2017, from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards will be held April 28, 2017, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
