Object Matrix, the leading provider of object storage solutions for the media industry, have partnered with Hiscale, a software development company who specialise in scalable and future-ready media processing solutions.
The integrated solution brings together Hiscale's flexible transcoding solution FLICS and Object Matrix's revolutionary media-focused cloud storage platform MatrixStore.
Hiscale's FLICS solution features an advanced set of video processing capabilities for broadcast customers, media, and entertainment houses as well as telecommunication providers. Allowing maximum flexibility for deployment, FLICS can manage instances across various platforms dynamically to maximise performance as well as reliability.
The combined technology provides users with a scalable transcoding solution that can manage instances across various platforms and is integrated with MatrixStore which is built on mature, feature-rich, and future-proof object-based storage technology delivering operational efficiencies, full digital content governance, and multiple media-based workflows.
As a result of the partnership, broadcast, media and entertainment companies now have an easy way to quickly access transcoding and proxy workflows whilst benefiting from a secure media archiving solution.
