In response to the nationwide shutdown of collegiate athletics due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Sports Video Group (SVG) has moved its annual SVG College Summit into a fully virtual format for 2020 and the show is just around the corner!

SVG COLLEGE SUMMIT VIRTUAL CAMPUS AGENDA Monday, June 22

-Your Changing World-

Monday will focus on our temporary normal. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating effect on the collegiate sports world, leading to the cancelation of the winter championship and spring sports seasons. However, video production professionals are innovative and ambitious people. We will discuss how we've all responded to this challenge while also diving into some new and unique live productions that are sure to inspire you for when we all get the sports we love back.

Tuesday, June 23

-Your Evolving Control Room-

Tuesday will offer an in-depth look at how our video production homes continue to rapidly change. Whether your team operates out of a robust control room, with a nimble production van/flypack, or you are making magic with limited resources, we'll break down the latest in live event video production infrastructure and take a look at when the industry is headed.

Wednesday, June 24

-Your Live Event Productions-

On Wednesday, we talk out bread and butter: games. Our treasured live games will return and, when they do, we'll be there to tell their stories better than ever before. Whether it's through interpersonal relationships or technological enhancements, how are collegiate athletics live event producers not only presenting a live broadcast of the game, but telling the deeper stories of their students athletes, coaches, and campus live to add a deeper layer of engagement to the live game broadcast?

-Your Social Synergy-

Friday is dedicated to video content creation strategy and execution on major social media platforms. As the lines blur between live production and creative within athletic departments, many are looking to take a more streamlined approach to video content. However, that doesn't mean that each social media platform still doesn't possess its own inherent qualities and paths to video success. Break down standards and best practices in content ideation, staff organization, and gear deployment in this in-depth workshop that will surely bolster your team's engagement.
