Audio-Technica Celebrates Launch Of John Lennon Educational Tour Bus in Europe

(29/05/2013) Audio-Technica has announced its involvement as a contributing sponsor of the Lennon Bus Europe, recently launched by Yoko Ono at the Museum of Liverpool.

Now in its sixteenth year of operation in the US, the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus is a state-of-the-art mobile audio and video production facility, providing young people with access to free songwriting and multimedia production workshops. Three on-board engineers work with students to write, record and produce original songs and music videos, all in a single day.

The Tour Bus has travelled throughout North America since its inception, completing hundreds of visits to music colleges, performing arts facilities and festivals the Lennon Bus Europe is now set to offer the same opportunities to young people across the UK and Europe.

Audio-Technica has long provided the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus with microphones and headphones as a contributing sponsor and the European bus's current complement of microphones includes a wide array of Audio-Technica products from M50 monitor headphones to ribbon and multi-pattern condenser 40 Series microphones, rugged ATM510a dynamic vocal mics and broadcast microphones for video production activity.
