Skeem Saam' fans react to John confessing undying love for MantuliJohn still has feelings for Mantuli. He recently hinted to his sister Joyce that he would like to take Mantuli as his second wife.

John Maputla (Africa Tsoai) revealed another shocking secret this week to his sister Joyce Maputla (Joyce Ledwaba).

He hinted that he's still in love with his baby mama and neighbour of many years Mantuli (Dieketseng Mnisi) and wants to marry her.

He revealed this on top of all the drama before and during his son Thabo Maputla's wedding.

Fans first thought he's joking but started taking him seriously when he brought it up again.

THE MAPUTLAS' REACTION Meikie (Harriet Manamela) and John's sons Thabo (Cornet Mamabolo), Leeto (Eric Macheru), and Mantuli's son Kwaito (Clement Maosa) will not accept this news.

His decision will divide the Seakamelas and the Maputlas even further as they're still trying to digest the fact that Kwaito is his son.

Meikie will go through with the divorce and seek counselling for everything he's put her through.

Leeto will disown him and look for his biological father as he doesn't see him a good role model.

Thabo and Mapitisi (Moagi Mohlatswi) will move to their new house and do not want to set foot in his house again.

MANTULI'S REACTION Mantuli will be flattered as she hasn't been in a relationship since her husband left her.

She most likely won't accept his proposal because she already feels like the laughing stock in the community.

She will turn him down even if she still has feelings for him because she cares about what people think of her.

The only person who will be supportive of John's decision will be his sister Joyce.

Joyce is happy when Meikie is miserable and supports every decision John makes.

This is why John confided in her first because he knows she'll always be on his side.

THE OTHER REASON HE WANTS TO MARRY HER John stated during the conversation with his sister that marrying Mantuli will bridge both families.

He desperately wants Kwaito's love and acceptance and feels like marrying his mother will improve their relationship.

He doesn't want Kwaito to feel like a mistake because his parents never dated or got married.
