Panasonic's new VRF 3 way range is extensive and covers the full ECOi series. The company's VRF range of commercial systems is leading the industry in the development of efficient and flexible systems, and is the natural choice for commercial projects, especially those where power restrictions apply.

2 lines ups exists:

- standard version with COP up to 4,77 (at 100% load)

- high cop version on key combinations

NEW FEATURES

The 3 way series offers the best solution to even the most demanding of customers. The improvements to the range include increased piping length which can be adapted to a variety of building types and sizes to a maximum of 180m from the outdoor unit to the furthest indoor unit.

The operating range has also been extended for both cooling and heating functions. By changing the outdoor fan to an inverter the cooling range has been extended by -10c and using a compressor with a high pressure vessel, has seen an increase in the heating range even with an outside temperature of -20c.

OPTIMISED EFFICIENCY

Efficiency across the range has been improved. For example, the 8HP unit offers an excellent COP (Coefficient of Performance) of 4.77 and an ERR (Energy Efficiency Ratio) of 4.5.

IMPROVED PERFORMANCE

Key product features of the new range include:

Works with a maximum capacity ratio of 150%.

Can connect up to 52 indoor units.

It has a static pressure of 80 Pa.

Other key features of the new three pipe series include selective defrost across multiple outdoor units (without adversely affecting indoor unit performance). In addition they require significantly lower quantities of refrigerant than other manufacturers.

NEW HR BOXES

The new heat recovery boxes are more compact and easier to install and help to support a comprehensive line up. The noise level is also reduce allowing it to be installed almost everywhere.

SIMPLER AND QUICKER TO INSTALL AND MAINTAIN

Panasonic has also addressed issues with ease of specification, installation and maintenance. The outdoor unit is now quieter and the size has been reduced, with only one size of chassis with a single surface area of 0.93m2, it is one of the smallest on the market.
