ITN today announces the appointment of David Conway as its new Chief Financial and Operations Officer.
David joins ITN from BBC Studioworks, where he is Managing Director. He will play a key strategic role in the evolution of ITN as an international news and content producer, whose current clients include ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, BBC, Sky, Netflix, Discovery and CBS.
David will take up his new role later this year, replacing Bryan Martin who is stepping down after a decade during which he has steered ITN's turnaround and subsequent growth and diversification strategy.
David, a Chartered Financial Analyst, has followed a varied career path across finance and business which focused on business valuation, mergers and acquisitions, and financial strategy before joining the BBC as the Head of Investment and Major Projects for the Group.
David moved across to BBC Studioworks Ltd in 2012, where he became Managing Director in 2014. BBC Studioworks is a commercial subsidiary of the BBC which sells studio and post production services to major broadcasters and production companies. David has successfully led the company's expansion into new facilities at Television Centre in West London and has established Studioworks as one of the UK's largest TV production services companies.

Christy Swords, Chairman of ITN, commented on Bryan's Martin's legacy: Bryan has played a huge role at ITN over the last 10 years. Thanks in no small part to his efforts, the company is now on a much sounder financial footing and well-placed to exploit the considerable opportunities ahead. The whole of the ITN Board, past and present, are grateful to Bryan for his achievements as CFO and for his stewardship of the company as interim CEO earlier this year. We wish him all the best for the future .
