DaVinci Resolve Studio brings new experiences of virtual reality in Hunters of myths series Beyond Productions is using Resolve as a comprehensive tool for post production, beyond the color grading, to create spectacular effects of virtual reality in the new season of the series.
The Australian company Beyond Productions, based in Sydney, is using DaVinci Resolve Studio of Blackmagic Design in the post-production of the contents of virtual reality for the hit series MythBusters that emits the channel Discovery Channel.

The filming of the material for the virtual reality scenarios began in the second week of may with the shark week special in MythBusters.
Put a puzzle together
"The first thing we did was record the underwater shots of sharks," said Ambar Sidhwani, editor of virtual reality for the series. "Regardless of the place of filming, we use a platform with six or seven cameras, capture static or subjective planes and define a field of view of 360 x 180 degrees with an aspect ratio of 4:3 to 80 connection all these specifications helped us later to synchronize the images during the post-production process", he added.

Sidhwani added that "the main advantage of Resolve is processing the images in their appearance and original image frequency relationship. The grading of the material was done with DaVinci Resolve Studio on a computer monitor. "It is not possible to monitor the images in an external display to a high resolution because it does not coincide with any broadcasting standard, so we carry out the adjustment of color on a computer monitor. Assembly program manages to maintain a balance between the various outlets in order to obtain a uniform result trying to maintain the highest level of detail.
