Sony has today announced five new models to its High Power Audio range with the MHC-V82D, MHC-V72D, MHC-V42D, MHC-V02 and an exciting new outdoor party speaker: the GTK-PG10.

Encapsulating audio

The new line-up features high power audio systems capable of filling even large party spaces, thanks to 360-degree sound and a new Jet Bass Booster. Jet Bass Booster, available on the V82D, V72D, V42D and V02, creates clear and deep, space-filling bass thanks to a carefully-designed tapered speaker duct shape. This means that air velocity is faster and the bass is projected further with even more impact.

With 360-degree sound on the V82D and V72D, you can enjoy a fully encapsulating sound experience. Each speaker is engineered with rear tweeters, angled speakers and a spread sound generator so everyone can enjoy the same sound experience across the whole dancefloor.

Sony's LIVE SOUND mode has also been introduced to the V82D, V72D and V42D so you can conjure up memories of seeing your favourite artists live. This mode creates a wider sound stage thanks to Digital Signal Processing technology, producing three-dimensional sound which puts you at the heart of the music.

Let there be light

The V82D and V72D speakers both boast a 360-degree party light to illuminate the night. This means you can light up your entire entertainment space with dynamic lighting. The V42D can brighten smaller party spaces with its new wider-angle party lights. All three models' lighting syncs to the beat, creating an incredible ambience at your party.

Entertainment at your fingertips

Control the party by movement with gesture control[1], including new vertical style gesture possibilities, to change the pitch of music or microphones. The whole family are sure to enjoy these fun music and voice effects.

Bring people together with the added features on Sony's companion Fiestable app. You can challenge your friends and family to a Taiko game[2] and put your rhythm to the test. With a new ranking function now being available, why not compete and see who can get the highest score.

You can even turn your smartphone into a party light via the Fiestable app to correspond with the lighting on your speaker. There is no limit to the number of smartphones that can connect, so you can recreate a live venue atmosphere at your party.

The addition of voice control means an additional way to interact with your speaker via the Fiestable app. There are plenty of different voice command options[3] to do everything from controlling the lighting and playback functions, to special features such as DJ effects and karaoke.

The GTK-PG10, for powerful sound in the great outdoors

Perfect for outdoor parties and barbeques, the exciting new GTK-PG10 speaker spreads high power sound with a dedicated outdoor party mode. With the top panels open, the built-in tweeters face upwards and outwards which spreads the sound wider for outdoor parties. The DSP (Digital Signal Processor) automatically adapts audio settings to optimise outdoor performance.

It is easy to carry so that you can party just about anywhere, with a cube shape and built-in handles which makes it especially easy to transport by car to your party. It is tripod compatible and has a built in rechargeable battery so you can enjoy up to 13 hours of listening flexibility[4]. The outdoor speaker also incorporates a table and cup holder on the splash-proof top panel so nothing gets in the way of your celebration. There is also a mic input so you can sing enjoy karaoke with your friends and family. The speaker also has an FM tuner function and USB play and charge so you can charge your smartphone on the go.

The GTK-PG10 is compatible with the free of charge Sony | Music Center and Fiestable apps, providing additional fun features at your fingertips, via your phone.

The MHC-V82D is available from April 2019 with an SRP of 750.

The MHC-V72D is available from April 2019 with an SRP of 630.

The MHC-V42D is available from April 2019 with an SRP of 420.

The MHC-V02 is available from April 2019 with an SRP of 230.

The GTK-PG10 is available from April 2019 with an SRP of 290.
