Arch Platform Technologies (www.archpt.io), a pioneer in automated, scalable cloud infrastructure for high-performance workflows, today announced a Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to accelerate the global availability of streamlined, cloud-native workstation environments.
Modern creative, design, engineering, and scientific businesses need infrastructure that can adapt quickly. However, configuring, deploying, and managing a globally distributed fleet of workstations, storage, and compute farms, especially for workflows demanding GPU performance, can require significant time, DevOps effort, and ongoing IT overhead.
The Arch Platform, built entirely on AWS as a Software and Services Partner, solves this challenge by simplifying and automating the end-to-end process of configuring, deploying, and managing cloud or hybrid cloud workstation infrastructure. With the SCA, Arch will grow its virtual workstation business and target its solution toward demanding cloud workstation clients in the Media & Entertainment, Advertising, Automotive, Education, Product Design & Manufacturing, Architecture & Construction, and Energy sectors. It is notable that Arch Platform Technologies has achieved the AWS Media & Entertainment Software Competency and is a designated AWS Software and Services Partner.
Key outcomes of the strategic collaboration include:
Faster global deployment: Arch allows customers to configure and deploy entire data center facilities globally in under 60 minutes and spin up GPU-powered workstations in 4 to 10 minutes, all within the customer's own AWS account. Arch supports most adjacent technology solutions, including AWS Deadline and Deadline Cloud render, FSx for Netapp ONTAP, LucidLink, Suite Storage, Qumulo, Okta, and many other AWS and AWS Partner services.
On-demand scalability: Compute farms and storage are deployed alongside workstations on the AWS high-speed backbone, allowing customers to scale up or down based on workload requirements while maintaining real-time performance.
Operational efficiency: By eliminating the need for manual configuration or DevOps resources, Arch enables IT teams to focus on strategic priorities while reducing overhead by up to 90%.
Cost optimization: Customers avoid overprovisioning by matching workstation types to workflow demands. Arch's automation and right-sizing tools help reduce cloud costs by up to 50%, all while supporting the sustainable compute infrastructure on AWS.
Seamless collaboration: All infrastructure is securely managed within the customer's AWS account and globally networked across regions. Centralized assets, identity integration, and VDI brokering streamline secure team collaboration across offices and remote locations.
Streamlined Procurement with AWS Marketplace: The Arch Platform is available in AWS Marketplace for streamlined purchase and onboarding.
