KOLABORASI MEGA MALAYSIA - INDONESIA MENERUSI DO[S]A, AN ASTRO ORIGINAL SERIES'

Buat julung kalinya, Astro tampilkan sebuah siri mini Nusantara premium eksklusif berjudul DO[S]A di platform digital, on demand' dan Astro GO, serentak dengan tayangan di televisyen menerusi Astro First saluran 480 dan di platform NJOI. DO[S]A merupakan naskhah Nusantara pertama di bawah slot An Astro Original Series' dan bakal bersiaran mulai 14 Februari ini. Dengan hanya RM 19.10 (termasuk 6% GST), penonton boleh menikmati kesemua lapan episod (berdurasi satu jam untuk setiap episod) dengan berulang kali dalam tempoh 10 hari dari waktu pembelian.
INFO PENTING BERKENAAN DO[S]A
DO[S]A merupakan naskhah asal dua orang karyawan hebat, gandingan Malaysia dan Indonesia, saudara Saniboey Mohd Ismail dan Salman Aristo, yang turut bertindak sebagai Penulis Skrip. Salman, satu nama yang cukup disegani di Indonesia merupakan penulis skrip untuk karya-karya pecah panggung seperti Ayat-Ayat Cinta', Laskar Pelangi', Garuda di Dadaku' dan Sang Penari'. Pencapaian terkini Salman adalah di Festival Filem Indonesia 2016 yang mana beliau telah dinobatkan anugerah Penulis Lakon Layar Terbaik untuk filem Athirah'. Turut sama terlibat sebagai penulis skrip untuk karya ini adalah saudara M Rino Sarjono.
Istimewanya lagi, siri original ini turut mendapat sentuhan daripada Pengarah Terbaik Festival Filem Indonesia 2011 iaitu Ifa Isfansyah. Ifa Isfansyah yang merupakan seorang sutradara yang begitu disegani ramai di Indonesia, mula menempa nama menerusi pengarahan filem-filem hebat seperti Sang Penari', Garuda Di Dadaku' dan Pendekar Tongkat Emas'.
DO[S]A turut menggunakan khidmat Pengarah Fotografi terkenal, Yadi Sugandi yang sebelum ini telah melahirkan stail visual yang cukup memukau untuk karya-karya seperti Ada Apa Dengan Cinta 2', Laskar Pelangi', Sang Penari', Darah Garuda' dan banyak lagi.
Selain itu, ia turut menampilkan Cecep Arif Rahman sebagai Pengarah Koreografi adegan aksi untuk melatih dan mempersiapkan para pelakon dengan disiplin silat dan koreografi seni mempertahankan diri. Cecep sebelum ini dikenali menerusi filem Indonesia The Raid: Berandal'.
DO[S]A juga dibarisi pelakon-pelakon hebat gabungan tiga buah negara; Malaysia, Indonesia dan Singapura bagi menggerakkan setiap watak dalam jalan cerita. Nama-nama yang terlibat adalah seperti Dato' M.Nasir, Remy Ishak dan Daniella Sya dari Malaysia, Ashraf Sinclair, Roy Marten, Maudy Koesnaedi, Hannah Al Rashid, Reuben Elishama dan Tegar Satrya dari Indonesia, serta Shenty Feliziana dan Hisyam Hamid dari Singapura.
Siri original yang bergenre aksi ini berlatarkan lapan asas utama yang mendasari setiap episod; Khianat', Tamak', Nafsu', Dengki', Derhaka', Fitnah', Munafik' dan Fitnah'. Kelapan-lapan ini memperkasakan slogan utama DO[S]A, Niat Tidak Menghalalkan Cara .
DO[S]A sarat dengan babak-babak yang mendebarkan, aksi suspen dan ganas. Namun begitu, pada masa yang sama turut diapit dengan pergolakan emosi, pengorbanan, ikatan kekeluargaan serta bibit percintaan.
Karya ini adalah kerjasama di antara Astro, Arie Zaharie Production dan Capitol Entertainment Production (produksi dari Indonesia).
Sesi penggambaran telah berlangsung selama 58 hari, dari bulan Julai 2017 sehingga September 2017. Lokasi penggambaran rata-ratanya dilaksanakan di Jakarta Timur dan Jakarta Barat, Indonesia (dengan anggaran 90% jumlah penggambaran) dan selebihnya di Malaysia termasuklah di lokasi-lokasi utama sekitar Kuala Lumpur, Kampung Baru, Klang and Putrajaya.
DO[S]A juga dijangka akan menembusi pasaran Indonesia menerusi platform OTT (Over-The-Top); Tribe Indonesia dan di saluran Astro Citra dalam waktu terdekat ini.

Astro sentiasa memiliki visi untuk menembusi pasaran serantau menerusi kandungan-kandungan kreatif yang tawarkan, terutamanya di platform digital. Persaingan dalam dan luar negara dilihat semakin kompetitif terutamanya apabila audiens kini memiliki lebih pilihan dari aspek tontonan.
Justeru, Astro terus berusaha menampilkan kepelbagaian dari segenap sudut terterutamanya dari segi genre sesebuah produk itu, penglibatan nama-nama yang berpengalaman di hadapan dan di belakang lensa kamera, dan yang paling utama, kandungan yang ditawarkan perlulah berkualiti tinggi, memiliki nilai-nilai komersial serta mempunyai identitinya yang tersendiri.
Sejujurnya, saya berasa cukup teruja dengan karya DO[S]A ini kerana ia merupakan kerjasama sulung Astro yang melibatkan Malaysia - Indonesia dalam melahirkan siri original Nusantara premium eksklusif istimewa untuk tontonan ramai. DO[S]A turut merupakan karya pertama Nusantara yang kami tampilkan dalam slot An Astro Original Series'.
Sebelum ini, Astro telah memulakan beberapa projek bagi menembusi pasaran serantau seperti 3 A.M. Bangkok Ghost Stories' dengan pihak penerbitan dari negara Thailand, naskhah seram bertajuk Door' dengan penerbitan Filipina, serta Cinta Paling Agung' dan Polis Evo2' dengan kerjasama republik Indonesia. Pada masa yang sama, filem-filem terbitan Astro seperti The Journey' turut menarik minat pemain industri dari negara luar untuk diadaptasikan bagi siaran di negara masing-masing. Ini secara tidak langsung memberi indikasi bahawa karya terbitan Astro diterima ramai, baik audiens dari dalam mahupun luar negara.
Melihat akan kejayaan yang berjaya dilakar menerusi kolaborasi-kolaborasi mega yang dilaksanakan ini, Astro akan terus melahirkan banyak lagi naskhah-naskhah hebat untuk tontonan semua. Akan datang, Sembilan', sebuah lagi siri original gandingan Malaysia - Indonesia dijangka bakal menemu
