It's a dhakad (smashing) beginning to 2025, as Netflix India unveils the trailer of its first series of the year - Black Warrant. Brace yourself to plunge into the mayhem of Tihar Jail, seen through the eyes of rookie jailer Sunil Gupta. Premiering January 10, this first-of-its-kind prison drama is led by Zahan Kapoor, with a stellar ensemble featuring Rahul Bhat, Paramvir Singh Cheema, Anurag Thakur, Sidhant Gupta, and special appearances from Rajshri Deshpande, Tota Roy Chaudhary and Rajendra Gupta.

Sunil Gupta steps unwittingly into the jaws of a system where power and reputation reign supreme and survival demands a price. Alongside him, his two trusted fellow jailers confront Tihars notorious inmates and the entrenched politics. Armed with little more than grit and determination, the trio faces towering challenges within Tihar. This never-seen-before account traces the deeply personal stories of inmates, officers, and their complex dynamics. Will they be able to challenge the system and bring change for the better, or will Tihar change them?

From the creative powerhouse of Vikramaditya Motwane and Satyanshu Singh, who serve as showrunners and directors alongside Ambiecka Pandit, Arkesh Ajay and Rohin Raveendran Nair, Black Warrant promises a raw, unfiltered dive into India's largest prison.
